COLEGE SOCIETIES - ASSOCIATIONS - ACTIVITY GROUPS

1

College Societies are established to promote co-curricular activities and competencies. It is necessary for every students to be a member of at least one society of his/her choice, to ensure all round frowth and   development of the personality. Students are advised to contcat concemed lecturer-in-charge for the membership.
NATIONAL CADET CORE
1

The college has an NCC unit for giving the  military training to develop the quality of leadership and to inculcate in the mind of students the spirit of service and sacrifice. The cadets will have to attend four hours pared during training period on every sunday from July to January. Besides the cadets are required to attend traning camps. Sant Gadge Baba University, Amravati provides incentive marks for NCC activities.

GAME  AND  SPORTS 
1.
The College encourages students to participate in various games and sports. Deserving sports persons will receive every encouragement from the college. Interested students may contact the Physical Education Deptt.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
1.
Annual Social Gathering shall not be held in the College according to University rules. The College provides ample apportunities to talented students to participate in Youth Festival and various other Cultural activites throughout the year. The College has produced colour holders in the Youth Festival events consistantly Various cultural programmes are organised to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of our Founder President Dr, Panjabrao Deshmuh.
SPECIAL INCENTIVE MARKS SCHEME
1.

According to Amravati University ordiance No. 1/85 incentive marks are awarded to the students who take part in the extra curricular activities. The incentive marks will be awarded upto a maximum of 5 % of the total marks of all papers taken together.

COLLEGE MAGAZANE / WALL MAGAZINEE
1.
College Magazine “ Vidya ” and wall Magazines are run by an editiorial board consisting of members of staff and the students, who have a flair for writing.
REMEDIAL COACHING FOR BACKWORD CLASS & MINORITY STUDENTS

The College runs a scheme for academically wear undergraduate and post graduate students including those of scheduled Castes and Scheduled TRibes & Minority students for inproving there accademic skill for deatils contact  :

YASHVANTRAO CHAVAN MAHARASHTRA OPEN UNIVERSITY, (NASHIK)
1.

COURSES  :  Our College runs a centre of YCMU (Nashik) for B.A/B.Com.
For seeking admission to B.A/B.Com. courses the candidate must have completed 16 years of age. For      appearing preparatory programme there is no condition of pre-education. After passing this entrance examination candidate can complete degree education for detail information contact co-ordinator of YCMU.

BOTANICAL GARDEN
1.

The college has a well maintained and beautiful Botanical Garden with a variety of medicinal and other useful plants.

FEED BACK MEACHANISM
1.
The college belives that there is always scope for imporvement. It therefore seeks significant parent & student in volvement through a feed-back meachanism. Feedback from visiting experts and externals is taken.
GUARDIAN TEACHER SCHEME
1.
On joining the college each student is placed under the personal supervision and guidance of a teacher who acts as a friend, philospher and mentor and keeps a record of the student’s progress. Every students should contact his/her guardian teacher regularly. For getting scholoarships, fresships, admission cards, etc. clearance from the Guardian Teacher is mendetory.
NETWORK RESOURCE CENTRE (NRC) 
1.
The college has a full fledged Network Resoure Centre (NRC) with computers broad band internet facility. All the stake helders should taken advantage of this facility. For details contact the librarian and computer Department.
STUDENTS GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL  
1. A students grievance redressal cell takes care of general grievances of students.
SUGGESTION BOX
1.
A suggestion box is placed in every department. The students should use this for giving positive  suggestions and avoid personalised comments/remarks.
CAREER AND EMPLOYEMENT GUIDANCE BUREAU
1.
The college runs a career employment guidance bureau for guiding the students to chose their career course for higher studies and for their personality development.
IDENTITY CARD
(A)       Every bonafied students of the college should have the identity card.
 
The Identity card should be prepared from the College Office by submitting a passport size Photo graph of the students immediately after admission on payment of Rs.10/-. The student taking admission in the subsequent academic year should get the identity card renewed within 15 days from the date of admission.
(B)       Students must keep the identity card with them when
1.

i)   They are in the premises of the college. 
ii)  They are attending classes (Theory/Practical) or College Functions.
iii) They are reciving shcolarships, Library Books, Money orders, registered letters, railway or      bus concessions, learning/bonafide cerficates, caution money or deposits or T.C. etc.
iv) They are attending Educational Tours, Sports & Games or Other activities.

(C)       The Identity card must be produced by the student whenever it is demanded.

  Any students without the Identity card will be treated as tresspasser and shall be dealt with accodingly.
Medical Examination  
1. All students of the college are required to present themselves for a medical examination before a  Medical
2. Officer appointed by the college. Those who fail to appear for the examination are liable for a fine or other disciplinary action.
Physical Training
 
All undergraduate students are compulsorily reuired to attend the Physical Training Classes. Failure to attend the classes shall invite disciplinary action as per the University rules.
Students Insurance
 
An Insurance scheme against accidents is run in the College. The Insurance is for one year. All students are compoulsory required to be registered under this scheme and to pay the premium.
Cycle Stand
 
Students are directed to park their Bicycles/Vechicles at the place allotted for this purpose failling which they will be fined.
 

The Principal’s decicion in all matters of admission, administration enforecment of discipline, general rural & special instructions mentioned in this prospectus shall be “FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL”
